The changes and architectural features of traditional Istanbul houses will be described throughout history. Wooden architectural building elements (walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, roofs, etc.) and construction details will be categorized and reinforced with application assignments and drawings. Causes of corrosion and types of damages observed will be classified; "Damage detection" will be shown practically. The steps of a wooden building protection-restoration process (research, projecting, implementation: on-site protection - integration - reproduction) and intervention techniques will be evaluated separately and evaluated on samples. National and universal conservation principles, approaches and intervention techniques will be discussed in wood structures.
